do you ever get used to having big raised scars? my incisions haven't even healed over yet and i'm already so insecure about them

I am trans, and I had gender affirming surgery(top surgery) and it has been 6 years since my surgery, and the scars on my chest are raised from my EDS. I got used to mine. It took some time for sure.

If you aren’t sensitive to adhesives, silicone tape can help reduce them. Either way, it is okay to have scars. They only mean we have lived and that’s a good thing. Scars are nothing to be ashamed of and they don’t make anyone less attractive❤️

Yes, I have scars on my chest and I’m used to them. Tho my mom will occasionally send me pictures of myself at the beach and stuff before my surgeries to remind me what it was like before. I find that a bit weird

I went to the dermatologist and they injected like cortisone or something and it flattened it out completely
