hot take: personally don’t find the whole “disabled villain” fictional trope all that offensive, because turning into a nihilistic misanthrope is actually a perfectly logical* reaction to experiencing a lifetime of ableism from all sides

I took a class on Shakespeare’s Richard the III (where he has a visible difference of some sort) and disability and we talked a lot about this! Super interesting
