i use stretching as my workout, or lifting and carrying my 9lbs cat around while doing high knees. I have POTS so going to the gym is like asking to pass out in front of strangers or do my lay on the floor with my legs up a wall in front of strangers. 😂 sometimes i also do a “nature workout” where I go on a hike, build or deconstruct a branch fort in the woods, lift/roll downed logs to look for critters under them, and maybe ascend a small hill once or twice if i’m not already destroyed lol.

I have this issue too (I have hypermobile EDS) and idk if you’d have space in your home but I got a yoga mat and I’ve been trying to do just super gentle exercises at home as often as I’m able. Like crunches, or bicep curls/arm workout stuff without weights, clamshells, all that kinda stuff. It’s hard not to feel discouraged when it feels like I’m struggling w a workout that would be used for like 80 year olds, but I’m proud of myself for being consistent and trying to treat my body with care!

If you have access to a pool (maybe locally??) once it warms up, I’ve found that doing slow movements in water can be really helpful with very low impact/pain (my knees and ankles are kinda fucked so full-gravity, on-land workouts are a struggle)

This is what I do currently, I have pretty consistent back, shoulder, and hip pain and it’s hard to make it go away. But I can’t do core workouts when my hip hurts so bad that I can’t even think.
