Dealing with withdrawals from being off my meds for 2 months, not by choice! My previous PCP did not give me enough refills before his fatphobic ableist ass got rid of me and I couldn’t get a sooner appt at my new place. Got more at urgent care but pissed

Let me guess you advocated for yourself a bit too hard and now they don’t wanna see you anymore because you don’t let them walk on you (similar thing happened to me, got kicked out of my PCPs office after complaining about her lying about the meds she put me on, now I have zero access to my mental health meds or hormones)

Yes. And also when I reported them to my insurance for being fatphobic, my insurance actually believed me and they legally forced them to give me the appropriate referrals for my asthma in addition to completing bias training and I imagine they also weren’t happy about that.

I’m sorry you are going through that. Being off HRT is so horrible too, especially when it’s not by choice
