I know two different people who have had vertebral artery dissections due to chiropractors. I’d rather go to someone qualified to practice medicine

There are anecdotal claims that they help with temporarily alleviating some symptoms. That is not the same as treating or curing something that, by the nature of the diagnosis, does not get better.
