Got my health insurance back and just got back from the doctors! Sleep study, blood tests, and a neurologist referral! Also psychiatrist referral but I needed that too. Here is to hoping someone figures it out ❤️

I also got ortho BP readings! My BP of course didn’t drop bc it never does. It raised up, then dropped back down to normal after standing/sitting still. So no POTS I suppose

It increases from about 70/110 to 90-110/130-140 and HR usually goes from 75 to 110 but it doesn’t last long and ONLY happens with movement and not just standing-sitting up which seems to be the confusion they have with whatever is going on

BP doesn’t say anything about POTS, did they look at heart rate?

In POTS, blood pressure explicitly does NOT drop. That's indicative of orthostatic hypotension. So the fact that your blood pressure even increased is indicative of POTS and potentially hyperPOTS (this is of course if your heart rate increases 30+ points within 10 minutes after standing)

What #2 said ^^^ because in a typical nervous system the heart rate slightly increases when you stand only briefly because your blood pressure drops some so your heart rate increases to compensate and even everything out

Oooh see they said since my BP didn’t drop it was a negative test and since it evened out after a few minutes back to my regular BP/HR it’s a big fat nope. My HR/BP always increases with movement and sometimes I get vision black spots lol

My HR only increases for a short time after I stand. All my vitals are quick to level back out if I’m still but even if I turn my head or raise my arm they jump back up 🥲 maybe it was negative bc after 10 minutes of still my body chills back out

This is how my POTS is. Flipping over in bed will make my heart race
