Anyone with malabsorption try and consume extra nutrient shit because I give up it doesn’t do anything anyway

A lot of them can’t be taken together for full benefits like 1 said, but supplements hurt my tummy so I just try to replace what i normally eat with higher nutrient versions (Greek yogurt instead of regular, wheat/seed bread instead of white) and hemp hearts can go on top of food for a bonus

sometimes different nutrients/vitamins help other ones absorb. for example i have iron malabsorption so my doctor told me to take it with vitamin c. they work together in such weird ways 😭 like i can’t take my iron when i take zinc bc it cancels out the effect of the iron

Yea I’ll second on this one, a lot of stuff doesn’t get absorbed properly without it being paired with the correct foods or other vitamins etc
