This could be a type of seizure with a post-ictal phase and should really be investigated

Usually it’s followed by me not being able to stay focused, like stare at a wall without blinking for several minutes unfocused and I’m aware of what’s happening but the act of reacting is so hard that it’s easier to just stay still until I can come back fully

I brought it to a doctor once but she said since I was aware of what was happening then it wasn’t a seizure?

You can have seizures where you do not lose consciousness
