I actually went undiagnosed w epilepsy for so long (17 years) because teachers+family thought I was day dreaming or just not paying attention but it turns out I was having absence seizures for my entire life lmao.

You can have it added to your accommodations that absences related to seizures are excused without a doctors note (or bare minimum campus clinic note). Depending how attentive your student disability office is, ofc
