Just had surgery for endometriosis, turns out I actually had adenomyosis as well so my uterus had to be removed (which it was) and somehow the post-op pain is less than the pain I was normally in. The lesions/scar tissue were basically everywhere in me

sounds to me like you’re looking at a much different life from today forward, in terms of pain management. wishing you well!!

I had the surgery too and omg it sucked! The bloating and gas pain hurt! My doctor wasn’t able to diagnose me with endometriosis cause she didn’t find the cells I guess but she said my uterus was really large so I guess I have adenomyosis

My first surgery left me with so much pain and bleeding, but this time around I’m in so much less pain and I’m bleeding a lot less than I thought I would, so I’m pleasantly surprised
