since upping my low dose naltrexone dose and taking metamucil i’m consistently having well formed BM for the first time in close to a decade. it’s been years of chronic diarrhea. i missed the feeling of big poops so much. gi issues are no fucking joke

got me excited about big poops lol but iykyk. i’m getting a colonoscopy to check for microscopic colitis and i’m really hoping to get some answers but i’m really happy to be able to already do things that will help me if i have it and even if i don’t. LDN has been a life saver, literally got me walking more than a few steps at a time now. i can stand for more than a minute now. and fiber in a lot of cases is so good for you.

i was getting sick of being told it’s normal to feel horrible all the time just bc i have celiac disease and it’s probably my fault bc i’m probably accidentally ingesting gluten. i’m not strict about this diet to the point of severely worsening my quality of life and having nightmares about accidentally ingesting gluten just to be told i’m not doing enough and it’s expected for me to still be suffering 4 years later. ts shouldve improved by now. i’m so happy i found a dr to actually investigate

I’m so happy you’re getting proper treatment. Medical gaslighting is no joke and, I don’t know how you present, but especially so as a woman. I’m glad you finally found someone who takes you seriously and is working with you to find you some relief. Here’s to hoping it gets even better for you ❤️

thank you so much!! 🥰 i am a woman and i definitely think that has played into why my treatment has been so poor. i just couldn’t seem to get anyone to care. i even got a fancy functional medicine dr who did nothing. this time for the first time i actually chose my own gi dr based on reviews and i found a woman who actually listens to me and is willing to do testing to rule out possible conditions. it’s so wild because that’s the bare minimum and i’ve been denied that for so many years!
