I have the opposite problem I start talking about lupus shit and my friends will be like “omg I am in pain too! i stubbed my toe earlier” and it’s like damn I’m not dying (yet) but i’m getting there, a *little* sympathy would be called for

My one friend would want me to go to like medexpress or the er and I kept having to explain that like baby they don’t do much for it, and if I went every time this happened I’d be in medical debt

Right?? I tell people about my immune issues and they want to put me in a bubble. (People say that so often and it’s gotten very old very quickly.)
