It’s from the TV show House MD where apparently it’s never lupus, idk, I haven’t watched the show. I don’t personally find it funny but what do I know, I haven’t watched it. I’m not here to police what people can and can’t find funny, I don’t blame or judge anyone for enjoying it, but damn, I don’t see lupus mentioned ANYWHERE without that overcooked barely relevant joke thrown in
Like, imagine if it was cancer instead?? “Man, dealing with cancer is really making life unlivable” and some chud comes in with a “it’s never cancer” like what am I supposed to say to that. Okay this time it is lupus, I was diagnosed and am medicated for it and am regularly hospitalized for it. Or was it that you don’t take me seriously and think it’s cool to make fun of sick people whose lives are being ruined by their illnesses? It’s just not the time to make the joke man read the room
