Little tip: “Wellness Centers” can do IVs to give fluids and even administer migraine cocktails. It’s so much quicker than going to the ER and less expensive. It can be a game changer.

Is that like an urgent care? Urgent care is where I go for severe migraines and breathing treatments it’s way faster and way cheaper than the ER.

Not really. It isn’t covered by insurance but depending on coverage and your copay it might be the same. And typically no wait. You can even make appointments. Depends on the location/ business. An example is Drip Hydration. But plenty of local businesses are doing it. It is regulated by laws so must be done by medical professionals. But I’ve been able to get a migraine cocktail and from walking in the door been out in less than an hour.
