god my throat feels awful. i have so much respect for anyone who deals with vomiting on a regular basis

Obviously talk to your doctor or pharmacist, but I have severe vomiting and I was told I just needed to manage 10-15 minutes without vomitting after taking my meds. Different meds obviously, but… Overdoing has serious risks, so depending on your current dosage and what the medicine is for would factor in to if you do. If I’m not sure if I take my meds, I know which ones it’s safer to risk taking a second dose than miss.

It depends but if you can ask your doctor or pharmacist next time you get a chance they’ll prob know

Depends on the med, but generally unless you saw whole pills in your vomit or it was immediate you aren’t supposed to retake them because it’s more dangerous to take a double dose than skip. I frequently vomit 10 minutes after taking meds and I’ve never seen them or had symptoms indicating I threw them up.

thank you to everyone who responded. i didn't retake them which is probably good because i threw up 4 more times that night 👍
