i have celiac disease so every other dr has just decided it’s totally ok and normal for me to have diarrhea for my entire life even though i’m so strict about my gluten free diet it severely limits me in life

if you alternate between constipation and diarrhea, consider that it could be you have diarrhea until your potassium gets lower and that constipates you and prevents you from losing potassium as quickly. so then your potassium goes back up and you get diarrhea again. i have a colonoscopy in a week and thank fucking god! everyone pls pray for me that i get a microscopic colitis diagnosis so i can stop shitting water for years at a time and actually have answers.

when i was constipated i had a poop that looked like this and it startled me so badly i was scared of what had just come out of me because i didn’t know poop could do that. if anything my drawing doesn’t even effectively convey how fucking strange it was. it looked like a fish skeleton
