Sometimes crying gets you better treatment though, it’s how I got surgery for hip dysplasia instead of another year of painful and unhelpful physical therapy

Tru, but with the anxiety/depression diagnosis that can be risky. My voice did start to break talking about everything I’d been ignoring, but I was able to articulate it.

When I was hospitalized (mental health) they refused to give me my meds for a migraine until I literally went to them begging and crying for literally any painkiller. So it is helpful in helping them see the extent of your pain
