if you’re female, it turned out for me that regulating my hormones with hormonal birth control completely stopped my migraines after trying a bunch of other meds that did not work, and it costs nothing with my insurance, so worth looking into if that’s an option for you!!!

Nurtec was a godsend for me. I take it at the start of a migraine and it gets rid of it completely (as long as it isn’t due to my neck issues) and it lessens the number of migraines I have overall

if you have aura, though, you have to use progesterone only, because you can’t take estrogen with that unless a neurologist clears you

insanely helpful. i went from 30/30 days of migraines to 5/30. i’ve only done it twice now. hurts while getting the botox and then a little sore for a day or two after like post work out but then migraines are gone for 12 weeks. it’s amazing

It helps a little for me, aimovig also helps. But honestly avoiding the triggers seems to be most helpful. Genuinely getting away from artificial lighting after sunset has been the biggest help
