I’ve noticed that it’s mostly men who step in to offer help when I’m fighting with a door or my wheelchair gets stuck, like 75-80% of the time and I’ve never had one touch my chair without asking first. What’s y’alls experience?

I don’t use any mobility aids myself so I don’t have relevant input, but that’s really interesting. do you suppose it’s like, a “chivalry” (neutral connotation) thing? cause I’ve heard that men in the southern US are raised to be more accommodating in that regard
