anybody else with EDS have a hard time driving for long periods? how do you combat it?

I don’t have EDS, but my husband of 6 years does and his solution is stop more often and crash after the drive, we stop a lot so he can get out and stretch and make sure all his bones are in the proper location, it’s also for me becasue I have athritis in my spine and hips and too much pressure on them for too long makes the nerves angry

Yes, and I don’t have a good solution unfortunately I just cry by the end because my shoulders and neck hate me.

also drive with a neck pillow… just trust me

I wish my armrests were higher so that I could actually rest my arms 😭 But yeah after a couple of hours of driving my upper back hurts and I have to constantly stretch.

push your chair all the way forward so your knees are resting right under the steering wheel it’s helps to have something to leave against/hold your legs in place
