I did my own research where he lives and there are actually plenty of places under 2,000 for housing in that part. Also he’s family and I think it’s ridiculous he is charging someone that much considering he’s also on disability

Even when I briefly lived with my dad as an adult, he charged me rent but it was never that much. At most I think I paid $300 which was very affordable.
