aw thats okay! i hope you have a speedy recovery! :) i want to get surgery for my scoliosis since my pain is always a 10 but my curve isnt “significant” enough for them (its right on the line)

I did not have fat surgery😭 I had a hernia repair and a new valve created

I had that too, hital hernia when they went in for gastric sleeve. They fixed it but it failed a year later 😭 then the gallstones came and that had to be removed too. But feeling so much better. How are you feeling? Recovering okay? Liquid diet?

las vegas bariatric. gastric sleeve. life changing surgery, virtually no drugs and I ran the Las Vegas Marathon for the first time ever

Omg that’s crazy! Now im scared I don’t want it to fail😭 I’m finally off pain meds today I was able to go for a small walk and still on liquids I tried pudding I just couldn’t do it yet.

I wouldn’t worry about failure… In my case, they did a mickey mouse job and really just stitched it up to try to tighten it but that wasn’t a true fix. Now I’m just changing my diet and on omeprazole. Take it easy 🫂I went to Disneyland a week later and that was far FAR too much and was a dumb idea

Wow that’s crazy, I know we can relate on the hernia repair, I’m hoping to be off my meds soon and eventually I’ll have to get the other part of my surgery redone in 30-40 years but I think for that one I’ll go permanent
