good news: my doctor believes me!! she thinks i should definitely be tested for Ehlers-Danlos syndrome and stuff. bad news: it turns out there are ZERO connective tissue specialists in my state, not even those out of my network. i live in Hawaiʻi. fml.
meeting with my doctor tomorrow to hopefully get a referral to a connective tissue specialist cuz i'm showing symptoms that something isn't working right. i hope she'll take me seriously because she has been very kind and supportive so far. wish me luck!!

Hawaiʻi has a severe statewide physician/healthcare professional shortage and it's much worse if you live on an island other than Oʻahu. The cost of living is so high here that even physicians here cannot afford to buy a house, so they leave for the continent.
