i have a lumbar puncture in a couple days and i’m really scared. i had one done in october when i was inpatient but this one is scaring the hell out of me

Aawwww it will be ok. I hope 🤞 they can give you some pain or anxiety meds to keep you calm & comfy. I know how stressful it can be, as I’ve had several myself. Some that I didn’t feel a thing, others weren’t as smooth, but I nervous every single time, regardless.

i survived and heading home because i actually live 2.5 hours from the clinic so we spent the night in a hotel. very excited for my bed

i feel a lot better after this one than my first one. thank you for the support. i’m back home now. i’m hoping this one gets more answers, all of the suspected diagnoses are going to be life changing but i feel worse not knowing what’s happening lol

That’s good! You’re welcome. Yes, I definitely understand that. One of my biggest fears is of the unknown. I hope that you get all of the answers that you need & the best solution to the problem(s). My inbox is open if you ever need someone to vent to.
