I've been chipping away at what I can trying to be proactive. I put firewood in a rolley cart and brought it in so it would be dry in case we needed it, swept the porch as the snow came down so it wouldn't need to be shoveled, salting after the snow... mostly just being under my heated blanket though. My EDS likes the cold so it's been friendlier to me than if I was using the same type of energy in the summer.
I had this same problem but working at a hotel where they expected me to shovel the sidewalks. I told them best I could do was to just salt everything down like 9 times. You can also create a fun neutral chemistry tool by using 2oz isopropyl alcohol, 1/2gal of warm water, and 6 drops of dish soap to create a melting mixture. idk if it’ll be too heavy, but it works on sidewalks! sometimes windshields but be careful putting any warm/hot water on frozen glass!!
