I know it’s hard especially if you don’t want to attract any attention but you can and should ask them to move

Yes, but like op said they were taking up multiple seats, and they can just as well explain that they need to be there if op needed to

they acknowledged that is was disability seating and to me it came off that they were not disabled. one girl pointed at the seats and said "its handicap seating" and the other girl said "nobody else is using it we're fine"

Yeah I was just reflecting on like, my own experiences with imposter syndrome. You can’t always know what someone posting meant but sometimes you take a lucky guess

yes feet and shopping bags resting on the seat. i didnt ask them to get up because i didnt want to assume that they didnt have an invisible disability, but its still frustrating that they were using the seats for shopping bags when it could've cleared up at least 2 seats if they put them on the floor
