I have tethered cord release surgery the 30th. I’ve been completely fine about it but just finished for the semester and now that I’m not stressed about finals I’m terrified about surgery

That’s SO real, sometimes it just doesn’t hit you until you have the space for it. Best of luck with your surgery!!!

I’m having release surgery May 14th. My last final is May 7th and I am not sure what I will do with myself during that down time. I wish you the best of luck with surgery. And if you find any tips to helps with the nerves lmk haha

My friend had this recently so I can’t say for absolutely certain, but they seemed to have a pretty chill recovery, and it seemed like a pretty short surgery from what I heard. Good luck

Hi! Been through two pretty serious surgeries. Tbh it’s nothing worth worrying over. You probably won’t know what’s happening while it’s happening (anesthesia) and when it’s over, you’ll have plenty of people to support you, medical and familial, while you recover. I know it seems scary but u got this!!
