This is going to sound so weird but I swear this is serious and I mean this TMI as a genuine inquiry and it is not intentionally inherently sexual. (So pls do not dm me weird stuff). Any advice is appreciated! Please tell me I’m not the only one.

It’s understandable that you’d feel this way based on your background, but please understand that use of sex toys or masturbation is not gross or wrong in any way. There’s a reason it feels good, it’s good for your body. Orgasms have been clinically proven to have real health benefits. Pleasure’s not really your motivation for using a vibrator, but regardless it is perfectly normal, safe, and morally acceptable to be doing so. Good luck going forward!

i understand why this may make you feel guilty, but as #1 said, orgasms have a plethora of benefits besides sexual pleasure. if it helps you be in less pain and discomfort, then do it. there’s nothing wrong with you for helping yourself feel better :D

I would get the pelvic floor issue checked out if you can though, you might not always be able to use the vibrator and this sounds like it could lead to serious issues

Yeah I’m getting it checked out. I’m going to get an MRI soon to make sure there isn’t a tumor or something causing a blockage- and it really is just my pelvic floor being a bitch. I’m also working on it a little in physical therapy. Fun stuff.
