The shelters here get away with turning away physically disabled people if they can’t “take care of themselves independently.” They just hand them a tent and are like “good luck.” So not exactly a place I consider disability friendly. There’s a lot of disabled folks that end up here but doesn’t exactly make this place disability friendly
