i am so used to doctors gaslighting me and treating me like a piece of dogshit on their shoe. this was such a relief. i was so excited and so terrified about getting my hopes up bc i had heard only good things about this doctor. my hr was 120 bc i was so nervous 😂 my last GI didn’t care that i didn’t improve much after my celiac diagnosis. refused to do anymore testing for a whole year after diagnosis so i just gave up. i’m so so happy and hopeful for the future for the first time in years.

and she was willing to make everything as affordable as possible bc i don’t have insurance, even letting me send her my testing from another cheaper place! i have to get a colonoscopy and biopsy and it’s $500+ dollars cheaper than i thought it was going to be!!! ik y’all get it but i cannot express how healing it was to be listened to and feel like a dr that could actually help me wants to and is willing to work with what’s important to me. it’s so refreshing to not be disappointed.
