I swear 60% of the time when I go to a follow-up appointment to get my med refills approved, the clinician somehow forgets to send the refills to my pharmacy and needs me to nag them about it a few days later

No literally. I get botox for migraines every 10 weeks and it gives me such bad muscle spasms for 3-4 days after which I get a muscle relaxer for. My last appointment I called so many times because it wasn’t at the pharmacy and it came in like a week later when I didn’t need it anymore

psychiatrist, rheumatologist, gastroenterologist, primary care, gender-affirming care—literally every type of doctor I deal with. beyond frustrating, lowkey insulting

that’s egregious as hell… like if it’s a med you were prescribed in relation to an in-office procedure, of course it’s gonna be extremely time-sensitive?? wtf, I’m sorry. pissed off on your behalf

It was so so frustrating. I barley slept the first 2 nights
