I’m immunocompromised and a recent urine tests shows I have a UTI (thankfully for me I get very few symptoms from them), but rheumatology told me to contact my primary for care, so I did, only for them to deny I have a UTI and offer no treatment…

Also this is the third time this has happened and yet rheumatology keeps sending me to my primary for treatment when I develop a uti KNOWING I’ll just have to come back to them when my primary refuses treatment

I’m chillin now idk what was up but oh well. I’ve been to an er so many times, they never know what to do with me so I prefer to not go anymore unless I have to

I usually only go if I already know what they need to do for them tbh, I’ve just been in a tricky insurance spot where I had to go to an er as like a pcp before. Like, idk what you’re pcp would have done but even if you needed antibiotics or something it’s basically just whatever you need to do to get that temporary Rx if you can’t get in anywhere else
