like I wouldn’t be happy if I was depending on federal benefits either, that’s not really a solution. but not even being granted that much, when I’ve had rheumatoid arthritis my whole life and my diagnosis list keeps snowballing, means there’s a hard time limit on how much longer I can physically survive

it’s absurd! the whole process is so deliberately grueling, and the logic (or like, lack thereof) behind who gets approved or not feels totally arbitrary to me legit glad to hear you ultimately got approved 🙏🏻 just wish they’d at least give you enough funds to actually survive off of. and not seek to penalize you for any money you may receive on the side
