the worst part is it’s so accurate. instead of both sides trying to have calm, useful debates, it’s a fight. it’s name calling, arguing, bickering, and the cold shoulder. we should be able to converse with one another about both the side we agree with and the side we disagree with. as a conservative, i will always be open to discuss both your side and mine in a mature manner. i always try to see the other perspective even if i completely disagree
