I would think if it as something in between, bc as it’s miles go up and it gets older it goes down in economic value but while you have it it still provides you with the same value if that makes sense

You still have to pay for insurance, gas, future repairs, etc.. it’s an asset in some ways but more so a liability

Where I live, it’s cheaper to have a car than not to have one. And I can do my own repairs (mostly). Gas is an everyday expense like food so that’s fine

Yea. Also the economic value doesn’t really matter to me as I tend to buy already depreciated used cars to get the best deals
