I was looking to buy a maual car that’s 2.5 hrs away, but I’ve never driven manual irl before only in sims, would I be able to drive the car home myself or should I try and get a friend who knows how to drive it for me

Bring the friend for the trip but try and drive/ learn yourself for a bit of the drive

Bring the friend if you can, if not then block out a lot of time and find a parking lot

If it’s a used car I say go for it lol would be a good time to learn irl (only difference I imagine is clutch control, which you need to learn through experience anyway)
