idk much but from what I’ve seen, avoid V6’s, V8’s are obviously the number one choice but the ecoboost isn’t THAT bad. I haven’t heard anything good about the V6. also, if this is your first car with any kind of real power, hold off. mustangs are known as crowd killers for a reason— they’re cheap and powerful. cheap power easily falls into inexperienced hands quite often. start with a low-powered, rwd car (miata, frs, brz), ideally something cheap, and get experience with controlling it first

Had an 05 GT manual in high school. Super reliable, good visibility, and not that hard to drive

Don’t get an ecoboost, get a GT, gen doesn’t really matter because they’re all pretty nice. American muscle cars are decently reliable so I wouldn’t worry about having too much mileage on it unless it’s like more than 80k or 90k. Also these cars are awesome to drive stick shift. Also if you get an ecoboost your either getting a naturally aspirated v6 or turbocharged straight 4 both of which I personally don’t consider real mustangs definitely would recommend a gt (na v8).

I’d say watch YouTube videos. Reddit might have some good info too

once you have confidence in that car, and the money, find your dream mustang and pull the trigger. you’ll be experienced with controlling the car and you’ll actually be able to enjoy it for what it is
