My new (to me) 2011 C6 GrandSport! Basically a C6 Zo6 with steel chassis instead of aluminum and the 436hp LS3 from the base 08+ C6s. Always been a car guy but never had a sports car, got a daily & saved up and it’s finally paid off! 33k miles for 37k.

Comes with aftermarket upgrades that are the Zo6 wheels, a carbon steering wheel, an MGW short shifter, newer screen, and minor things like the center console and leather around the e-brake. Pick it up Friday, super stoked!!

Really cool car man but it’s not quite “basically a C6 Z06,” the defining factor of a C6 Z06 is the LS7 😭 Lowkey a steal for 37k other than the fact its a vert

I’m so excited. It’s a bit above the budget I wanted so can’t afford any mods for a little while (really want zr1 splitter and spoiler lip) but this one was done so well by previous owners and clearly taken care of based on the inspection and test drive. Hard to find a C6 GS this low mileage and good of condition under 40k+, aftermarket mods without original parts probably helped but any enthusiast will enjoy the wheel and shifter mods

Exactly, excellent buy and being able to put in additional work modifying will be icing on the cake. This is my exact dream car purchasing experience for the future, enjoy that beauty to the very end.

Yeaaaahhh, I know the LS7 is the main feature of the Zo6, just easier to say “zo6 with LS3” than mentioning the widebody, functional aero, bigger brakes, wider tires, stiffer sway bars, revised shocks, coolers on trans and diff, close-ratio gearbox, and upgraded shaft and axles of the Zo6 that the grandsport has over a base C6. I have driven a base C6 and it makes quite a difference in driving experience. But you’re right, Zo6 has LS7 and is like 200lbs lighter. Thanks for saying it’s a steal
