Defensive driving question: do you avoid beat up cars especially if they are Nissan/Hyundai/Kia etc? Do you also avoid certain groups of people?

100% avoid beat up cars, especially when parking cuz if they don’t care what their car looks like, they won’t care when they swing their door open and leave a fat ah ding in my side. Had some bad encounters with challengers/chargers thinking their the shit on the road. All Tesla drivers are NPCs, I cut one off the other day just for the love of the game looool

Depends if they are using fsd, the new versions are pretty goated, they even move over for bikers lane filtering and then move back

Why do you call them NPCs, in the nyc area I find the black trucks (as in for hire Escalades/suburbans/etc) driving way more aggravating and npc like than any Tesla drivers with the shit they pull

I’m from socal where everyone they mama drives a Tesla lol. Literally the other day I almost got side swiped by some Tesla on the freeway. How do you manage to almost hit me when your car has cameras to show whats around you and loud ass alarms to tell you when you’re about to hit someone? I also recently watched someone try to reverse park. Took them about 7 readjustments and 20 minutes to get into the spot

Teslas that cut up are fine at least you get out of my way my issue with them is that they are some how all bad drivers despite all the safety features that come with it 😭😭

You’d be surprised, compared to many modern cars which are an orchestra of safety chimes the Tesla barely warns you about cutting someone off
