Aston Martin really needs to bring back the style of interior from the second generation Vanquish. This is the current interior btw. Not the worst but it looks so clunky and sharp. Honestly an issue I have with the new Vanquish in general. The second generation Vanquish is my favorite non-DB Aston my a mile, and is such a beautifully smooth and flowing car. I was beyond excited to hear they were finally bringing it back, and then it comes out and has the sharp angles from the Victor but not the kit for it and it just looks so wrong.

Honestly, the perfect solution is the 2012 - 2017 interior but with a modern Apple CarPlay unit or something in that style since they can make them pretty slim now from some Iโ€™ve seen. The design is so sleek and flowing. The new one has a clunkier interior than the DBX, and thatโ€™s an SUV.

Doesnโ€™t that make it more prone to failure? Or is it about the same as the unresponsive Tesla tablets that disables the car when a chord is slightly loose

No. It is incredibly well made and isnโ€™t known to be a fail point.

Yes, the display is a good display, but cars donโ€™t need to ah e them that big and it looks ugly. People think it needs to be โ€œfuturisticโ€ but it just takes away from the car. Also more and more we are seeing them replace physical buttons which is a big โ€œhell noโ€ 90% of the time.

I mean probably, but it doesnโ€™t mean itโ€™s bug-proof. Considering 97% of all actions are done on the screen aside from the gears and hazards, thatโ€™s a pretty major fault

Yes! This is my big issue with screens taking over so much of the critical car function. I find them replacing traditional volume and AC knobs annoying, but at least you can do the volume from the wheel most of the time. Replacing potentially life saving things like the hazards with screens is a terrible idea.

EXACTLY THIS! Aston was always the brand that represented sleekness ๐˜ˆ๐˜•๐˜‹ speed. Now they are just starting to look chunky outside of maybe the DB12. Also, Iโ€™ve got just a basic car play unit since my daily driver is a 2019 Chevy Bolt (great Bailey car btw) and Iโ€™d say that level and size of unit is perfect for most people. Maybe give it a nicer quality screen, and the ability to check things like the output of the car and such since people would love it for track days, and thatโ€™s it!
