Like yes #2 is dumb for calling contrarian a “big dumb word” and using “your” there, but also #1 is just replacing a colloquialism with a word with a sophisticated connotation that doesn’t actually have a significant difference in its meaning

AND if we’re are going to criticize grammatical mistakes unnecessarily adding the word too at the end of the first post is way more distracting for the reader and “contrary” to what the poster is writing then using “your” instead of “you’re”

i see how it looks like that out of context! i was replying to a post that was like “most of the time people aren’t actually haters” and i was agreeing and adding. no trying to use a bigger word really
