It’s not as much a concrete system, but I really like the powers and magic in Thistlefoot. They are manifestations of generational trauma.

Probs the magic system in the locked tomb series, love me a power system that involves sacrifice of your or other people’s physical health/organic matter

I’m a sucker for the classics, and it doesn’t really get more classic than the wheel of time. It’s nothing super unique, just so detailed and thought out across the series
