Is Priory of the Orange Tree good? I love epic fantasy and keep getting recommended it but don’t know if it’s like tiktok epic fantasy. For reference my favorites are TWoT, Stormlight, The Bound and the Broken, RotE, Licanius, etc

Yes its good! I'm not sure what you mean by tiktok fantasy but it isn't romantasy, although romance is an important part of the book,

It’s not TikTok fantasy don’t worry. One of my favorite books (and the reasons why I started longer series like stormlight)

Thanks! I don’t have a problem with it, I don’t tend to like dedicated romantasies, but all the good fantasies have romance. It just seems like I can’t get any real recs from people on social media, I don’t know if they’re getting paid to promote books or what. Pretty much nothing I’ve picked up has been similar to the way it was described. One of my friends recommended this one too tho
