If y’all want to read e-books but don’t have a kindle or the money to pay there is always Project Gutenberg. It has a bunch of classics (some of which I couldn’t find anywhere else) and is super easy to navigate.

the internet archive can also be great for public domain stuff and things that were originally published in journals! (like translations)

Yeah, the Kindle app is free even if you don’t have prime or a kindle so you can still borrow e-books that way for anyone who wanted kindle books w/out getting the device

I love Libby but I also love being able to download books from Gutenberg and the IA and permanently own them + email them to myself and others. I feel like they fill different niches which is great!
