went to barnes and noble to buy the second book in a series i started and its $22 even in paperback... (its the only bookstore within a 1 1/2 hour radius of me and i dont like ordering off amazon) why on earth are books so expensive now?!?!

I’d make sure to order the regular paperback if you go through thriftbooks, i haven’t received a single mass market in good condition from them, even if that’s how it was listed 🥲 I like pango because you can see the exact book you’re buying
