I feel like this book should’ve been kept as a niche book story some points of it feels so like imaginative idek how they’re going to translate that into a movie😭

I do think that most people know fiction from reality. You don’t want to know what kind of porn men watch if this is concerning to you. There is tons out there that already has HA like content. And while there are plenty of shitty men who want to do that stuff because they themselves are fucked up, there are also plenty of decent folks who won’t be influenced by a single movie. We need to stop blaming men’s issues on media and start blaming them on shitty men.

As much as I enjoy dark romance I would commit a crime if someone ever treated me how those women are treated like actually. Especially devils night series I’d be like Emory and send all these mfs to PRISON.

I wanna see it just to see what they leave out and leave in. For the Housemaid a lot of details were changed or left out, so I’m hoping it’s the same for this.

They might think, “oh yeah so many people love dark romance” and then they watch it and they’ll think… “that’s what they want.”

I feel like it’s a pretty safe thing to say that romance movies have predominantly attracted a woman audience for decades. I don’t really think this one will change much.

I was SA’d by a Christian dude many many years ago before dark romance was established how it is now. Men who don’t want to rape women will not suddenly want to because of a movie. Men who want to rape women will be doing it regardless of a film (that most of them won’t even watch). It’s actually lowkey dangerous to place blame for human actions on media.
