You are correct the controversy around her was essentially that she is theorized to be a nepo baby and/or industry plant. Very wealthy background and being successful despite having books that were noted as being really really bad

Oh besides being a nepo baby, she lied about most of her marketing for Lightlark. Like advertised quotes and scenes that weren’t in the book. So just kind of a mess I won’t go near

Yeah i think im steering clear of her books😭 its literally crazy how she advertised her story like she went from rags to riches
