Having a hard time getting back into reading for fun after a reading-heavy semester of grad school. I really liked my classes, but now I’m trying to read some fun romance and it’s all just falling flat. Recs for best written adult romance??

Saaaaaame. I think I’ve accepted it’s just not my time. My reading brain just needs a break.

This is how you lose the time war. Sf romance. Trust me.

I read a lot of horror too but I have a good lineup already. The problem is none of it is in kindle unlimited, just physical, so not as easy for me to read at night. And I don’t want to rebuy them digitally. So I was hoping for some good fun paranormal or fantasy romance to ease my brain between semesters. But all I have recently tried is badly written. Ugh I fear I am in a slump.

I think that’s where I’m at 🥲 I read 30 books this year for classes and that’s just a lot. Idk if I’m gonna enjoy anything right now.

here, one of the kindle unlimited standalone series that ive read and enjoyed was emily mcintire was the never after ones, hooked, scarred, wretched, they are a different take on classic fairytales following the villains
