Honestly for me it comes down to making sure the characters and storylines you’re swapping between are equal in quality. I love multipov, but hate when one of the povs is boring or unlikable, so my momentum hits a wall when their chapters come up

I agree with 2. I remember reading a thriller about 3 women, but one of them had noticeably less chapters and her chapters were boring it honestly made me forget she was supposed to be a main character
