FUCKING YES 👏 There’s a novel (and movie) called Something Borrowed where the main character sleeps with her best friends fiancé. The entire rest of the story is the finance wanting to be with the man character but staying with the best friend since they’re already engaged. ALL he had to do was just be mature, communicate to his fiance that he doesn’t have the same feelings and then be with the main character. Love triangles can immediately be solved with one of the characters just being mature

the only time i’m okay with a love triangle is when it’s not really a love triangle and it’s main character + main love interest like each other and the second love interest likes the main character but it’s unrequited (though ideally that doesn’t last bc then i feel bad and it’s like dude give up)

How does TVD compare to True Blood since I just finished True Blood and someone told me I should check out TVD?

I have no idea what True Blood is but it seems one of the differences is TB is more adult and TVD is more teen drama (think of other early 2000 tv shows like gossip girl or pretty little liars) and there’s less coexistence between vampires and humans in TVD (part of the drama). All I know is I love TVD and have rewatched it many times so you could always check it out 🤷🏻‍♀️
